This specific dressleri is velvet in texture and darker than the commonly bred 'RG' locale. There is almost a blue undertone to the leaves, the emergent is a deep maroon.
Ace of Spades is the progeny of a no ID wild collected plant. The owner, Tom Fennell, of Orchid Jungle nursery gave seed to Silver Chrome Gardens. SKG went on to breed the plant that we now recognize.
